With this Vata Pournima playlist, we inaugurate the SanUtsav Festival series of sanesamarthism. On this auspicious day, we pray to Vata-Swami to shower His eternal grace on us and guide us towards our ‘Mul’ (Inner Self).
Shree Swami Samartha spent a large portion of His stay at Akkalkot under his favourite Vata Tree (वडाचे झाड). The Vata tree symbolises the timeless, omni-present and energizing nature of Swami Samartha and hence Vata Pournima has great significance for Swami bhaktas.
